Georgia stands on a crossroads of Near East, Europe and Asia. A history of this country - constant change of initial wars and infinite intrusions. Fortunately, the Georgian people could with advantage go through the problems, that fell on them , having saved the ancient culture … Combination of ancient culture, the hospitality and tremendous kitchen are worth visiting the Georgia at least onces a life.

Now the capital of Georgia is Tbilisi. When these lands were called Iberia, the capital was Mtsheta that had been considered the most ancient city in Georgia . In 1994 Mtsheta, where had been saved more then 200 historical-architectural monuments, was switched on by UNESCO to the List of the World heritage. This most interesting city standing on a coast of Kura, deserves separate travel. There is also unique Georgian architecture original carved wooden balconies decorating cosy hospital houses, which doors are always open for dear visitors. The people lived in territory of Georgia in the early and average bronze periods (III-II centures up to AD). Even if you do not have any familiar in Georgia, leaving from here, you will have one hundred friends. " The largest happiness for the Georgian is when they have many visitors ". You can visit Georgia practically at any time of year, since there are summer resorts , Georgia is rich also with winter ones. If you are going to move a lot in the country - plan the trip for summer months, when mountains are exempted from snows and ice.
