Trip to Mtiuleti and Khevi Provinces

This tour leads us to Mtiuleti and Khevi provinces by the historic ' Georgian Military Highway'. So called by Russian King Alexander I, this route actually dates from before the first century BC and is still important as one of the only links to Russia through the Caucasus Mountains.


Day 1 Tbilisi - Gudauri - Kazbegi Our tour will start in the morning (08:00 or 09:00). We will drive to the town Kazbegi, via Cross pass - unique place for a stroll and trekking. There are several options for Trekking. Guide will accompany you.
Lunch en rout. Dinner and overnight in ,,Stepantsminda” hotel in Kazbrgi
En rout visit Svetitskhoveli and Jvari Church and Ananuri architectural complex.
Evening free for a walk in town

Day 2 Kazbegi 3-4 hours trekking round trip to visit Trinity church surrounded by the snow-capped mountain Kazbek (Mkinvartsveri), an extinct volcano reaching to 5047 meter, After lunch optional tour to Devdoraki gorges to see waterfall.

Day 3 Kazbegi - Tbilisi; Morning free for walking.
On afternoon return back to Tbilisi.
